Hello my friends!
Today we will try to change our way about thinking. When I diet & start working out, I look to inspiration to the one group of people that have never let me down…Superheroes, yes Superheroes.
When the HULK wakes up in the morning and jogs down to the truck weigh station, notices he’s about a ton overweight, does he get depressed?…No…No he doesn’t…he gets mad. What does he do with that anger? Does he bust up the local Ben & Jerry’s for some Chunky Monkey. Actually he redirects his anger to a vigorous high octane fat burning workout. It’s not HULK CRY! It’s HULK SMASH! One lesson to learn from HULK is that you should never stop exercising, just because you are your ideal weight. Sure he may have accepted who he is, but that puny Banner will always work to get rid of the HULK…he never will…he never will.
If you notice that you are in the groove on your treadmill, and your Fruit of the Loom’s are riding up and causing some major chaffing, you need to work through it. If Spiderman is getting his butt handed to him by the Green Goblin and he starts getting a wedgie can he press pause and make a costume adjustment. No…no he can’t. If Superman is holding up a mountain to save some puppies can he just take his boots off and put band aids on the back of his heels cause they are digging into him. No…no he can’t. Always remember what these superheroes have to do to keep in tip top physical shape. It’s not enough to get bit by a radioactive spider or blasted with gamma rays. If they didn’t have a daily work out regiment they’d slow they’re metabolism down as fast as the next guy.

January 28th, 2010 | by adminThanks all for stopping by, decided to throw up a progress report to show where we are and where we are going.
1. Been able to maintain a comic a day from October 25th til now: I know on Sunday’s I cheat a little with the Archive stuff and promotional stuff. Mostly because I need time to get ahead, & sometimes because of computer problems.
2. New comics started a few days before New Years. Plan on doing it all year leaving Sunday’s for the archives (I have a lot of old stuff, probably enough to get through til almost end of the year.)
3. 2900 unique hits (according to google) since October 25th. 3616 in total with 9700 pageviews. ( my hosting site numbers are through the roof but for some reason I don’t trust them as much?
4. All 50 states & Washington. 66 countries (I think I leveled off on that one) 1200 cities round the world.
5. Thanks for the feedback! It is helpful.
6. Number one site referral is Reddit (but it seems that dropped off like a cliff)
7. Other main pulls are Myspace, Twitter, and Facebook. I also drop off postcards in local comic book shops and do local conventions. (anyone have other Ideas I would appreciate it)
Thanks again everyone!
